Return Policy

You may return most items you have purchased from Academic Superstore within 30 days of delivery for a full product refund minus the cost of shipping providing the product is unopened.

Software that has been opened and is defective may be exchanged for a replacement item of the same title and platform only. No returns for refunds are accepted on opened items. If the return is a direct result of our error, we'll also pay the return shipping costs. Outside of 30 days from delivery, defective products will be subject to the manufacturer's warranty.

A Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number must always accompany all returns. To obtain your RMA number, simply call or email our customer service line at 800.817.2347 or contact@academicsuperstore.com. Products returned without obtaining an RMA number will be refused or subject to a 15% restocking fee at the discretion of Academic Superstore. If your return warrants Academic Superstore emailing a direct return material authorization label please consult with our customer service staff for details.

When returning items to Academic Superstore, we strongly advise that you obtain a tracking number for your shipment. Please use a sturdy shipping box. All original product parts are required for return, including product packaging.

Due to manufacturer restrictions, we cannot accept returns of certain items.

Orders cancelled prior to shipment incur no charges.

Shipments which are refused or returned in unsellable condition are charged shipping costs both ways, in addition to a 15% re-stocking fee on the order.

Orders cannot be cancelled after shipment. Customers must call for a Return Merchandise Authorization. (See Return Policy)

All returns must have a pre-approved Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number from Academic Superstore.

Products returned without an RMA number will be refused and returned to the customer.

Unopened items may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a product refund minus the cost of shipping.

Opened, installed, or registered products are not eligible for return, unless proven defective by the manufacturer's customer support.

Customers returning products will incur all shipping charges to receive and return products.

Opened or defective products may be exchanged for the same product within 30 days of delivery.

Opened or defective products not returned within 30 days of delivery will be subject to the manufacturer's warranty and dealt with directly through the manufacturer.

We will pay return shipping costs within 30 days of delivery for defective or damaged products, and items received as a direct result of our error.

Certain products are not eligible for return at any time.

Volume Licensing orders and Electronic Software Downloads are non-returnable and non-refundable.

Any software that is received in non-sellable condition is not returnable. This requires that the actual package the software comes in must not be crushed or torn. We recommend that software be returned in a box container to prevent damage while return shipping.

Merchandise can not be returned without prior authorization. A Return Authorization Number (RAN) is required for all returns and may be obtained by calling 800-543-8188 ext. 1538. Any return sent to CampusTech without an RAN will be subject to a 15% restocking fee and shipping fees.

All returns must be completed within 30 days of the delivery date of the product in question. No returns will be accepted after 30 days.

Opened software may only be returned in exchanged for purchase of equal or greater value and only if they are in re-sellable and unregistered condition.

Not all products are returnable due to the manufacturer's return policy.

Software: Within 30 days of purchase, software may be returned for a refund for any reason, provided the sealed software package has not been opened and is in its original salable condition.

Hardware: Within 14-days of purchase, hardware may be returned for any reason. Hardware must be returned in original packaging and in a resalable condition.

All return items, must be pre-authorized and issued an RMA number. JourneyEd will not accept returns without an RMA number. A restocking fee of 15% or $45 (whichever is less) will be assessed for any returned item. Original shipping cost is not refundable.
